What is GaiGai?

GaiGai is the offline dating platform of Asia’s popular dating app – Paktor, but it serves as an independent company with its own database and services. GaiGai aims to offer greater opportunities for singles to meet through social events, as well as personalized dating services for those who prefer one-to-one dating. GaiGai’s dating services include personalised matching services based on our clients’ preferences. Our Relationship Managers will screen through all our members personally to ensure the validity of each profile and improve the quality of your matches.

GaiGai Events organizes events of different themes and activities (e.g. wine & dine, prawning, karaoke, etc) to cater to singles with different interests. We also offer customised image and dating courses for our GaiGai members.

How do I become a GaiGai member?

Becoming a GaiGai member is a simple two-step process. First, complete the online profile and verify your mobile number. Once your profile has been approved by GaiGai, you can proceed to schedule a face-to-face meeting with your assigned relationship manager. This session is to find out more about you, as well as your preferences for your other half. This entire process is absolutely free.

How do I become a paid GaiGai member?

At the end of the face-to-face session, you may want to purchase dates packages to become our paid member. As a paid member, you will now have more control over your dating life with guaranteed matches.

How can I purchase a dates package?

In order to ensure the quality of each match, we meet all our members face-to-face for a profiling session. You can choose to purchase dates package at the end of the session, or go online to purchase our packages with the URL provided after our profiling session.

I have found my partner on GaiGai! What do I do with my remaining dates? 

We are really happy that you have found your compatible partner through GaiGai. That is exactly what our business aims to achieve. Depending on your situation, there are several options you can choose with regards to the extra dates. Please reach us at contact@letsgaigai.com so that we can discuss about your case.

Is my profile public on GaiGai?

Unlike some of the other dating agencies, we prefer to keep your profile private. We will only use your particulars to find your best match, and only your identified match will be able to view a brief profile about you when confirming the date. This brief profile will not include your profile picture or any particulars that will make you identifiable.

Where will the dates be held?

Up to the both of you! If you both are undecided, we have a selected list of F&B partners that our team has identified as the best venues in town for first dates. GaiGai members going on dates are eligible for additional discounts, depending on venues, to make your date even more enjoyable!

What if my arranged date is below my expectation?

We want to reassure you that every date arranged by our team is matched to the best of our abilities. Each match is determined based on compatibility measures backed by scientific research and historical user behavior trends. You will also get to view a brief profile of your upcoming match prior to meeting your match in person and choose whether to go ahead with the date. Expectations are subjective, hence we hope that you will respect our professionalism in serving your best interests. You can view our refund policy if you have further enquires on this issue.

Does GaiGai have a refund policy?

GaiGai respects your concerns and will assess each request on a case-by-case basis. The refund policy stated in the signed contract will be explained to each member and stands as final, superseding the general refund policy. All GaiGai Contracts have a three-calendar-day of Cooling Period.

Does GaiGai have a dispute resolution procedure?

Yes we do. In the case of  a dispute, you can report via: 

(a) The “Contact Us” tab on the footer of the company’s website
(b) Write an email to our GaiGai Support at contact@letsgaigai.com
(c)  Call GaiGai’s Customer Service at 62229670
 

Clients will receive an automated email to inform them that GaiGai has received the feedback and will investigate and respond within 3 working days. A staff will also contact the client to find out more information.

In the event that you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can proceed to lodge your dispute with independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) bodies such as Small Claims Tribunal, Singapore Mediation Centre or CASE.
